Red Rocket Spotlight

Things haven't been great for the ginger champion of the NBA Matt Bonner as he seems to have lost his scoring touch in March.  So far this month the Spurs have played 4 games in which Bonner has scored 8,14,11, and 4 points.  His scoring is down while his minutes remain the same.  He has also gone ice cold from beyond the arc as he is 5-18 from down town in the month of March.  During this time the Spurs have gone 2-2.  Seems that as Bonner goes so do the Spurs.  Lets hope Bonner can turn it around quickly because we all wanna see him do great.

Interesting Fact: While playing for the Florida Gators, Bonner amassed 1,570 points 778 rebounds and 165 three pointers and finished his career ranked in the top 10 in six categories.

Now I realise that Bonner's last game was on Friday night but I feel the red Rocket needs some love.  He hasn't been playing his best ball of late but the Spurs are winning and thats all he cares about.  Big 98-67 win over the Wizards friday in which the Spurs held them to just 10 points in the 4th quarter.

I have decided, upon the suggestion of a friend, to start updating the world on the status of the great Matt Bonner as he attempts to become the greatest ginger basketball player of all time.

Tonight Bonner returned to the ACC to face the Raps and did not have an impressive night.

Not a great game for the Red Rocket but worthy of note either way.
